The Co-operative rebrand a talking point
Overheard in one of my much improved local Co-operative Food Stores this conversation between an older staff members and a couple she was serving:
‘I’ve been 12 years at another store before this… it is nice to be working in a nicer environment… we’re not the Co-op now though.’
‘Really?’
‘No. Now it’s the Co-operative. And we’re not a convenience store anymore, because we’re no longer convenient.’
‘Oh but you are!’
‘No. It’s all change, change, change.’
