Shoot the Qantas media buyer

Qantas sales now on!Okay. It’s a rubbish photo, but the advertisement being dragged around Manchester’s skies was barely legible from the ground anyway (especially as the wind had a habit of turning it the wrong way). It’s there to tell us that Qantas, Australia’s national airline, has a sale on.

It’s doubtful that the media buyer concerned has much to do with the airline’s public relations or corporate social responsibility people.

The combination of cheap long haul flights and what must be the billboard with the largest CO2 footprint in town, doesn’t do Qantas’s reputation as a environmentally responsible operator much good.
