So popular are they, it seems unlikely that there’s a household in Britain that wouldn’t welcome foul mouthed Vicky Pollard (buy here) to dinner.

The lesson for all marketing and PR people is that with Christmas coming that little bit earlier each year (Selfridges opened its Christmas shop in August), planning for the festive season must come even earlier. It’s so bad that I’m worried plans for 2006 may be formed too late and I’ll be reduced to jumping on others’ bandwagons (buy Little Britain Talking Dolls here).
