Kerry Katona right to sack Max Clifford

I’ve been a little out of the loop on Kerry Katona and hadn’t caught on to just how disliked she is in by the red tops: ‘Belly Katona… star’s gut hangs out as she covers her massive breasts’ – the Sun.

But what did catch my eye was a front cover of Heat boasting of an interview with Kerry Katona’s publicist, Max Clifford, in which he stabs her in the back. Katona was right to sack him.

It’s fairly clear that Max Clifford’s been doing an extremely poor job of managing Kerry Katona’s reputation and so probably should have been sacked whatever, but it’s outrageous that he feels no obligation to respect his client’s confidentiality. I don’t blog about clients – good or bad – because clients must be able to trust their public relations team completely.

But maybe that’s the difference between a publicist and a public relations consultant.

I think Kerry was wrong to sack Max, he has done a great deal for Kerry and was looking out for her, she will always regret what she done
