Icstis rebrands as PhonepayPlus

Icstis, the premium phone line regulator has rebranded itself PhonepayPlus, which must be one of the silliest moves they could have made.

PhonepayPlus sounds very much like one of the businesses it’s supposed to regulate. It simply doesn’t say ‘regulator’ in the way the admittedly stuffy Icstis did and I reckon they’ll have a tough time convincing anybody that they’re a kosher regulator and not a bunch of wide boys.
