Brazen PR rumbled by Manchester Evening News

A simple stunt for a Stockport chocolatier has come to a sticky end for Brazen, one of Manchester’s leading consumer public relations agencies after the Manchester Evening News caught them faking photos.

The little bit of Easter PR involved a guy arranging a £700 bath of chocolate for his girlfriend and was rumbled after the MEN’s diary editor, Dianne Bourne, recognised the girlfriend as a Brazen PR girl.

The defence – that this was the recreation of a true story – may not go down well with Brazen’s more right on clients. It turns out that the reason the photo shoot needed stunt doubles, was that the real couple was two men.
