Media becomes the news
Press Gazette reports that the only journalists outside Kate Middleton’s house are looking for press photographers, rather than Prince William’s girlfriend.
But it’s not just the journalists’ trade paper that makes journalists the news story; the royals Vs the press is everywhere. While News International has banned paparazzi shots (although that didn’t last long and I wonder what they’d do if someone caught her snogging someone other than William?) other papers seem reluctant to ease off. But maybe that’s understandable: where are else are they to find hard news stories like this?
