Getting the press to a photocall
A little late with this one, but Barrow and District Disability Association hit on a novel idea to make sure the local newspaper turned up to the opening of their Santa’s Grotto. In the absence of any local celebrities, they got the eighteen month old daughter of editor Steve Brauner (most famous for running a MySpace user out of town) to do the honours. Not surprisingly, this was reported as the ‘best grotto in town’… I don’t imagine it made news elsewhere though.
