Blog ghostwriter for hire!
It turns out that just seventeen per cent of blogging business executives write their own material, which may come as something of a disappointment to blogging evangelists. Many have been banking on blogs to give business a human face and create conversations around brands that might ultimately lead to a form of Open Source Marketing, in which consumers take control. Scary stuff!
Indeed, many business people will feel intimidated by the prospect of exposing their daily thoughts online. It only takes one badly constructed blog, written at the end of a long day, to upset the employees, customers and shareholders who hang on every word for a hint of where their futures lie. No wonder most consult human resources, as well as communications, before saying anything. The research found that not only do bosses not write their own blogs, 77 per cent don’t write their own speeches and while time is the usual excuse (48 per cent), 39 per cent admit to having difficulty expressing themselves in writing. That’s no surprise to those of us who earn a living putting the right words in others’ mouths.
Yet there’s no shame in employing a ghostwriter for a business blog. People with ideas and vision aren’t always good at explaining. They often get wrapped up in jargon or find themselves so close to what’s happening they forget others have been left in the dark.
So if you’re a busy executive who thinks a blog would be a good idea (if only you had the time) here’s a blog ghostwriter who will give you an authoritative online voice in no time.
